If you are unaware, there has been flooding over at Queensland. It's quite serious stuff, with most of the folks getting caught off guard. At some places, water levels rose 4 meters!! And in some reports, flooding took place in 3-4 mins. From quiet stream creek to massive flood.
Here's a little stats summary of what's happened. QLD is the second largest state in Australia with a total area of 1,852,642 sq km. 75% of that is 1,389,481.5 sq km. That's roughly the size of Peru! Or if you want a better understanding of size, it will take 258 Perths to cover.
Let's take time to pray for those affected. Thank God the fatality isn't high but the rebuilding process is going to be huge.
ZPH will be doing donation for Flood relief. If any of you are interested, please contact your ZS or Cell Leaders. Collection to be done on Sun 23 Jan.
Perth had hail, Victoria got burned & Queensland got flooded. If you find you have nothing to praise God for tonight, remember that having your own dry bed is already a huge blessing, so appreciate it!
