Welcome to Zion Praise Harvest at the University of WA, the oldest & most picturesque university campus of Perth. If you’re not sure about the beauty of this campus, just walk around the campus grounds on a weekend & count the number of weddings being photographed!

We are a youthful, energetic bunch who love God & love people.

Founded by Ps Patrick & Ps Joyce on 16 Feb 1997, we have grown from 16 people in a living room to 3 Weekend Live services [God is so faithful]!

Overall we come from 35 nations worldwide. Yet we share a common faith in Christ.

Here’s a bit of what happens in the House – are you ready?

• We meet weekly for fellowship, prayer & discuss the Word of God in smaller groups called Cell Groups. These groups are hosted in the homes of our members – so there’s probably one near you!
• During the year, we conduct various training sessions – ranging from practical Christian living & relationships (marriage & parenting), to professional leadership courses for the marketplace (Maximum Impact by internationally-recognised leadership guru, Dr John Maxwell).

We also have a number of big events such as:

Zion Praise Harvest is a multicultural, evangelical-charismatic, community, campus cell church with a youth flavour...& if you can say that in one breath, you deserve an award!

Evangelical as we believe in the Bible to be God’s timeless truths for daily living.

Charismatic as we believe that the gifts of the Holy Spirit are meant to operate in the lives of Christians today.

Our Vision is to invest in people to build the church.

Our Mission is to worship & glorify God, to save & disciple people.

Our Values are attitude, relevance & excellence.

Our Message is faith, hope & love.

UWA Live has recently shifted to a new timeslot – Sunday Morning 9am – AND a new venue, Social Science Lecture Theatre! Having shifted from our previous timeslot of Saturday evening at Murdoch LT, this is a new chapter for our UWA Live service.

Led by Pastors Patrick and Joyce Chen, UWA Live comprises of mostly undergraduates, graduates and young working professionals from the area around the University of Western Australia.

UWA Live is managed by Passion (undergraduate ministry) and Young Adults (YA). From service coordination to PA/Media, worship and ushering ministries … All are vibrantly represented by our members who use their God-given talents in worship to God.

If one word could sum up the theme of our service, it would be PASSION. From the dedication of our worship in ushering in the presence of God and inviting us to worship, to the earnest attention to Zion News about important events that our House participates in, to the most important segment of the Word brought to us by our Pastors and occasional guest speaker.
