OGL's
Hi guys.

We are almost at the end of this year of uni and I know that most ppl are busy preparing for exams and finishing last minute assignments. But during this time we also need to start preparing for next semester and the opportunity we have during orientation to meet new ppl and invite them to be part of our cell groups and church family. The best way we have to do this is by volunteering as a Orientation Group Leader (OGL) for next years international orientation. OGL's are the people you first met at UWA who gave you a tour of the campus, helped you organise class registration and gave you tips about how to settle into Perth.

Last year Passion had about 8 ppl serving the freshies as an OGL and we were able to meet many of them and invite them to our orientation events. Please consider being part of it next year as we welcome a whole new batch of freshies to Perth and UWA.

To prepare to be an OGL there are 2 days of training and preparation on Monday 8th and Tuesday 9th of Febuary. This is followed by Welcome Day on Wednesday the 10th and some OGL's will also help with class registration on Thurday 11th and Friday 12th of Feb. To become an OGL you must be 2nd year or above next year and have a heart for the new international students.

Tomorrow (Friday 16th October) is the last day for OGL registration!!!
